The CEO of the Silte Development Association, Ato Shemse Nuri, gave a statement to Silte Zone Communication regarding the overall performance of the 2018 budget year.

Ato Shemse, who stated that the Silte Development Association cannot be seen as separate from Silte, added that since its establishment, the CEO has been working to fill the gaps in the community.

Ato Shemse added that it is also a development association that is implementing large-scale projects that will bring significant benefits to the country.

Ato Shemse stated that the Development Association has been able to move towards better activities through comprehensive reforms over the past years. He stated that many successful activities were carried out, especially in the last fiscal year 2018.

Among these, the CEO mentioned that the two tree planting programs are worth mentioning, noting that many community members from different cities participated with their children.

He also mentioned that the twelfth Selma Conference was successfully held and that the work of electing and replacing new board members was underway.

Ato Shemse Nouri also said that the International Solidarity Challenge, which was launched on the day of the conference, has yielded many results beyond the financial ones.

The Challenge is a challenge that has been implemented in our zone, in various cities and in foreign countries, to strengthen the unity of the people of the country.
