At the virtual forum, feedback prepared on the implementation of harvest farming, input supply, new agricultural initiatives, revenue collection, business license renewal, market control and livelihood stabilization activities, job creation, debt collection, rural and urban corridors, one-stop service for farmers, national ID cards, summer volunteer work, defense recruitment, and other current activities was presented and discussed by the zonal department heads.

The district administrators and city administration mayors who participated in the meeting confirmed during the discussion that they will work for better results and community benefits by correcting deficiencies and enhancing strengths based on the feedback provided.

The Chief Administrator of Silte Zone, His Excellency Ato Zeine Bilka, who chaired the virtual forum, said that the activities and efforts being made to achieve results in all sectors are encouraging and stressed the need to further strengthen initiatives, expand results, and correct shortcomings. He stressed the need to thoroughly examine all options related to revenue collection, develop a culture of receipt of receipts, and create a conducive working environment to achieve better results.

The administrator said that in the job creation sector, especially among unemployed graduates, it is necessary to provide training and coordinate the activities.

Ato Zeine, who recalled that the agricultural sub-economy is facing great challenges, said that it is necessary to use wetlands properly and rely on developments that generate income for farmers in any way and work extensively.
