In Silte Zone, a consultation forum was held with the stakeholders regarding the anti-corruption day under the theme of "Building the country by engaging the youth to fight corruption". In order for the anti-corruption fight to reach the desired goal, everyone's joint efforts and cooperation are needed.

Zeyne Bilka, Chief Administrator of Silte Zone, who was present at the forum, said that corruption and malpractice is a serious crime that weakens development and hinders the growth of the country's economy.

He also explained that since corruption is a crime that has the potential to weaken the country by preventing peace and stability, the fight started in a coordinated way should be strengthened.

He conveyed a message to those who have a significant role in the fight against corruption, especially the people, judicial institutions, education and other democratic institutions to play their part.

Mr. Zeyne added that the fight to bring corrupt people to justice should be continued. In his speech, he emphasized that every citizen should fight hard in fighting and exposing the crime.

A document focused on the background of the international, national and regional anti-corruption fight was presented in detail by Hassan Lalu, the head of ethics and anti-corruption and the convener of ethics networks, and discussed extensively.

Ato Hasan said that the main benefit of celebrating the festival is that the anti-corruption fight is not only the responsibility of the Anti-Corruption Commission, but it is a part of everyone. The participants of the forum expressed constructive ideas and opinions.

It has been pointed out that the practice of corruption at the global and national level is becoming more sophisticated and expanding, causing great damage to administration and development.
