Ziko sheikh mosque is one of the long aged mosques in our zone. It is found in bendesh ziko kebele of sankura woreda at 5km from west of alem gebeya the town. Ziko sheikh mosque was established by sheikh haji muktar (ziko sheh).
The mosque the holly quran written on parchenents, other religious books,archives E.T.C. during the annual remedan feast many followores of isllam flow also come to this mosque to attend the religious education given in the mosque.
