The Stelae stone site is located in Silti Woreda, Silte Zone, 8 km from the capital city of Kebet to Warabe. The Stelae stones are more than 3 in number, and the main Stelae stone is estimated to be 1 meter in width 2 meters in height .
It has carved images of human body parts such as eyes, mouth, hands, breasts, chest, stomach, etc. On it are engraved images of tools or weapons. On the others, images resembling tools are carved.
Another Stelae stone taken from the same area and placed in a prominent place in the Addis Ababa University campus for research and study have been confirmed by some studies to be part of this Stelae stone.
In general, the Asano Stelae Stone is a Stelae stone that reflects the art of the community that lived in the area in ancient times. Visitors can easily see these Stelae stones on their way from Kebet to Warabe, as they arrive at Asano Kebele, just 100 meters away from the road, and thus return with a clear understanding of the artistic achievements of mankind.
